The SimPossible Racing League headed back to USA Speedway for the third time of the season for the series finale race.
Travis Zuidema entered the race as the points leader. Kevin Cochran was 8 points behind in a must-win situation.
Eddie Hawks, once again, won the pole position for tonight's race. Hawks went on to lead all 10 laps in the first heat race. Kyle Zimmer did the same the second heat race.
Onto the main feature race, Eddie pulled away from Kyle and Billy Wise immediately, who were fighting for second place in the first five laps. It allowed Eddie to open up a one second lead. Kyle managed to settle in second place early on the race.
The race became a three way battle for third. Kevin Cochran started mid pack, worked his way up to third place and was hard charging on Zimmer for second place before the first yellow flag was waved at lap 31.
The race restarted on lap 34, and Eddie pulled away quickly. Kevin passed Kyle for second place and would battle with Eddie for the race win. Kevin and Eddie traded paints in turn four with 6 to go. It allowed Kyle get back in the battle and it a became three-way battle for the race win in the final five laps of the race. Eddie was able to hold off both drivers to take the race win, leading every lap of the race. Tim Masters hard charged back to the top five and finished 4th. Travis finished 5th, capturing his first championship in SimPossible Racing League Dirt SS Series.
